January 23 – We Love God

Welcome back church. Thanks for joining us. As part of our Month in Prayer we have been praying through Reedy’s Values. Today and tomorrow, we are looking at our final but not least value – love. Love ought to undergird all that we do. In the greatest command that our Lord Jesus gave us, He said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” (Mark 12:30 NIV). So much can and needs to be said here, but the simple truth is God create us to be loved and to love. And the bible teaches us that we are to love God with all that we have – our time, our hands, our possessions, and our hearts. What a culture we are building – a group of people who love our Lord passionately. Let’s pray that Reedy grows deeper in our love for God in our worship, caring, and obedience to His Word.
