January 17 – We Honor One Another

Thank you for joining with me and others in praying in unison. Our value of honouring starts with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He deserves all our honour and praise for who He is and what He has done. Romans 12:10 also teaches us to honour one another. Paul says, “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves” (Romans 12:10 NIV). This is such a wonderful biblical value that has so many positive consequences. Honouring others by listening, giving our time, and attention, our words of gratitude and encouragement shows to them respect and esteem. Let’s give thanks to God for the good people in our lives and how we may honour them.
